The two actress friends spent the day visiting Frances Klein Classic Jewels - getting true star treatment when the store temporary closed so Lopez and Remini could browse the store’s selections without any hassle.

Meanwhile, Jennifer is soon attempting to rejuvenate her big-screen career, as she’ll be filming a new drama called “Plan B” this May.

Talking about how eager J. Lo is to return to the limelight, a friend told OK! magazine, “Jennifer was in Hollywood all Oscar week, and it just reminded her of everything she’s lost, career-wise. She used to be the belle of the ball, and now she’s a fifth wheel.”

Jennifer Lopez has revealed that she suffered 'a kind of nervous breakdown' seven years ago.

The actress and singer blamed overwork and stress for her illness. She said she refused medication, instead resting until she felt better.

She told website The Daily Beast that she 'froze' while filming Enough in 2001.

'I was like - I don't want to move. I don't want to talk. I don't want to do anything. I had a nervous breakdown,' she said.



'There were no signs leading up to it. You really don't know what's happening at first. I was going, what's going on? It's funny what tricks your mind plays on you. I just didn't want people to think I was falling apart.'

Lopez suffered the breakdown shortly before marrying her second husband, dancer/choreographer Cris Judd.

Enough, which was released in cinemas the following year, starred Lopez as a battered wife fleeing her abusive husband, played by Billy Campbell.

But the new mother said she did not experience post-natal depression after the birth of twins Max and Emme in February.

'People kept prepping me for it, but it didn't happen,' she said. 'At the tenth day after giving birth all that chemical stuff did peak - that hormone thing - and I did cry a lot that day because I was having so much trouble moving (after her caesarean section).'

In the revealing interview Lopez, whose father David has been a Scientologist for more than two decades, denied being a member of the religion but said she was 'bothered' by people's negative attitudes towards it.

'I just wish that people wouldn't judge it without knowing what it is,' she said. Lopez added that she would be happy for her children to attend a Scientology school.

And she defended herself against her 'diva image'.

She said: 'Once you have a lot of success you become a target in many ways. I just think the whole diva thing is a misrepresentation of who I am. I worked really hard. I kept my focus on the right things. And still even with that they find stuff to pick on.'

Her rounded derriére helped her to superstardom, but it seems Jennifer Lopez may have a little less of it these days.

After months of strenuous exercise as she prepared for a triathlon, Lopez's famous curves now seem distinctly smaller.

Last night the new mother-of-two showed off her firm bottom in a white figure-hugging dress at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Milan.



Remarkably, the actress has regained her pre-pregnancy figure just seven months after giving birth to twins, thanks to her heavy work out schedule in preparation for the sporting event.

She took part in a charity triathlon in Malibu, California, earlier this month to raise thousands for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Lopez was joined at last night's Italian event by her husband Marc Anthony and her Wedding Planner co-star Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves.

The two couples, who have both become first-time parents this year, posed side-by-side on the red carpet.

Among the other celebrities admiring the Dolce & Gabbana Women's Spring/Summer 2009 fashion collection were burlesque star Dita Von Teese, supermodel Eva Herzigova and Adrien Brody's Spanish model/actress girlfriend Elsa Pataky.

The three women appeared to have coordinated their wardrobes beforehand, each looking like they'd comfortable fit in at a 1930s society hunting event.

After a string of fashion disasters, singer Jennifer Lopez appeared to be a different woman as she posed for a private photo-shoot at the sacred Acropolis in Athens.

Wearing a dreamy flowing strapless blue dress, Lopez gazed intensely into the camera of Greek-born photographer Spyros Poros.

Lopez, with her hair curly, can be seen holding herself up between two huge pillars of the ancient Erechtheion, on the north side of the Acropolis.



While it is still unclear what the photos will be used for, there were rumours that they would appear in a weekly magazine.

One fan wrote on the singer's fan site: 'She looks absolutely gorgeous. The whole town is at her feet. She is very friendly and waves to the cameras.'

Lopez was in Greece for a single concert on Saturday, wearing three outfits for her performance, including a white Charleston-like dress, a black body-hugging outfit and a gold-coloured short dress with black knee-high boots.

It comes just days after she was criticised for her fashion choices while on holiday in Italy.

But as nipped to the shops in St Tropez today the popstar looked decidedly crumpled.

In her embroidered brown smock and gladiator sandals she could have done with seeking the advice of her designer friends.



Svelte Jennifer, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme just seven months ago, had travelled to St Tropez from Monaco.

The 39-year-old and husband Marc Anthony had celebrated his birthday with a short romantic break.

The couple made the journey to St Tropez in comfort, onboard Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's yacht.

'I feel really great and so glad I finished and that I made it out of the water but more amazing than that, I feel really great that we raised $127,000 for the Children's Hospital.

'Hopefully it'll go to good use.'

Lopez was inspired to take part in the triathlon when she was eight months pregnant with twins Max and Emme.

She told ABC's Good Morning America last month: 'I was beached like a whale. I was watching TV, and I saw a triathlon and I said, "You know what? I think I could do that, that would be great for me to do. Maybe I'll do it this year."'

In the VIP area, Lopez met up with McConaughey. They both greeted each other with a hug following their efforts at event, held at Zuma Beach.

Lopez was accompanied along the way by her trainer Gunnar Peterson who was not officially taking part.

McConaughey's girlfriend Camila Alves and their newborn son Levi were there to show their support. Actor Jon Cryer also took park in the triathlon.

In total the event raised nearly £530,000.

Wearing her sporty attire today, Lopez cut a very different image to last week when she was pictured in a stunning white dress with Victoria Beckham at New York Fashion Week.

Jennifer Lopez has been training hard for a triathlon, and it certainly showed as she arrived at a charity event in Colorado last night.

The singer, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme just six months ago, put her slimline figure on display in its glory in a figure-hugging red frock.

But it appears the singer forgot to spray deodorant before leaving the house, with unsightly underarm sweat patches proving a distraction from her otherwise immaculate ensemble.



The 39-year-old is gearing up to take part in a charity triathlon in Malibu, California, next month, a decision she made when she was eight months pregnant.

'I was beached like a whale. I was watching TV, and I saw a triathlon and I said, "I think I could do that." ... Maybe we could raise some money and do something really great..'

'I was watching TV and I saw a triathlon, and I said, 'I think I could do that. 'That would be great for me to do. Maybe I could do that this year. And of course everybody told me I was crazy.'

During her appearance on Good Morning America Lopez admitted that she was nervous about completing the course. And she had some advice for triathlon hopefuls.

'You've got to start slow. You have to start little by little but just work up to it,' she said.

The star will take part in a charity triathlon in Malibu, California, on September 14.

'I keep telling myself that when I'm training, "This is for charity. Your kids are going to know about this. Don't embarrass the family! Get it done, Lopez!'"

'I feel like my stamina, I can get it up there if I work really hard.

'[But] the swimming is a killer, I'm not a natural.

'I'm always into challenging myself and seeing what I can do. It's really tiring but it's fun. It is hard, I'm not going to lie. But when I'm done I feel great, I have more energy.'

Lopez - who is married to singer Marc Anthony- revealed earlier this month that she decided to take on the challenge in order to make her children proud of her.
