Busaba, the famous meeting-up joint and high on Mumbai's party circuit recently celebrated its eighth anniversary with some of the biggest names in the city's Page 3 circle.

Milenge Milenge is a forthcoming delayed Bollywood film, expected to release in 2008. The movie is directed by Satish Kaushik and stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in their fifth film together after Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met (2007). Other members from the cast include Satish Shah, Aarti Chhabria, and Delnaaz Paul.

Apparently Kareena will not be clad in cotton sarees but will be seen as glamourous politican.

Director Sudhir Mishra says, “That stereotypical look goes against the young, dynamic, honest and incorruptible image of the new Indian politician. Kareena in Dhruv will be dressed how you’d expect a beautiful and glamorous people’s representative to be. Look at today’s young smart politicians. They wear what they’re comfortable in.”

If you remember, Kareena’s printed-saree look for Chameli was a craze. I feel Kareena’s politician’s look will also be a craze.”

During his holiday in USA, Akshay Kumar was left surprised when he heard about his kisses with Denise Richards and Kareena Kapoor making BIG news out there in India. While working in 'Kambakkth Ishq' he never felt that kisses would form an integral part of the film's promotion. However, once media picked up the news, it was a point of no return as every news channel and entertainment forum was flooded with the exact count of kisses that he shares with his leading ladies in this Sabbir Khan directed film.

"Honestly, it was so much all of a sudden for me", confesses Akshay, "Here I was holidaying with Twinkle and I start getting calls around my kisses with Denise and Kareena. I was flabbergasted with people asking me details around why, where and how. Frankly speaking, all of it has been blown out of proportion."

Doesn't feel think that all of this was not really required as a part of the film's promotion, especially when there was so much else to be talked about the film?

"That's my entire argument", says Akshay, "This is a film that takes us to Hollywood and the culture out there is to kiss and show. Moreover, my kisses with Denise are quite casual. It's the culture thing in West where people do plant a peck on your cheek when they cross their path. It isn't like we have indulged into any kind of passionate kissing. Is cheez ka film se koyi lena dena nahi hai (This has nothing to do with the film). 'Kambakkth Ishq' is a lot more than just the kisses."

How about his lip lock with Kareena?

"Yes, it is an integral part of the script and does make sense during the narrative. But again, that too is not passionate-passionate in true terms. These are small pecks", Akshay sets the record straight.

While Kareena hasn't quite gone around the town detailing the 'wow' factor involved in her kisses with Akshay, Denise has openly appreciated Akshay as the best kisser she has come across.

"See, Denise comes from a different background and has Western sensibilities. She has a different mindset and one must appreciate that people from West are open about their feelings. However, hamaare yahan baat kuch aur hai. Hum log aise baat nahi kar sakte. Woh bhi theek hai and we should respect both the cultures", Akshay replies diplomatically.

How is Twinkle reacting to her hubby dear's kisses?

"Well, she can't stop laughing ever since the so-called 'news' break happened. She knew about the kisses and while as were reading about it in the newspapers, we were plain amused. So yes, it's all cool with us", says Akshay while getting ready for his BIG Friday

If you saw Kareena Kapoor getting breathless during her Ladakh schedule which ended on Monday this week, it wasn’t because of her excitement level.

It was something far more immediate..and scary.

The unit of Raj Kumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots shot at the Pangong Lake in Ladakh which is 13, 900 feet above sea level. Often tourists who go up there are known to complain of breathlessness due to the lack of oxygen.

And so it was for Kareena, Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi who scaled new heights of derringdo without any casualty, though many people are known to collapse for lack of oxygen at the place where Kareena, the only female member of the cast, shot.

Says Kareena, “We had little oxygen, no electricity and no hot water. On top of that I was in a wedding ghagra-choli outfit in that freezing cold, can you imagine! The wind almost swept me off my feet.”

To protect herself from the freezing cold Kareena wore thermal heating along with her outfit. “But that was of very little help. Finally the unbearable cold was all worth it for a wonderful film. The boys (Kareena means Aamir and Madhavan) were great fun.And Raju Hirani is a gem.”

And now from freezing cold Kareena has suddenly gone into the simmering heat of monsoon-less Delhi. The sharp contrast in the weather has taken its toll on Kareena’s health.

Compounding her woes is the fact that she is in Delhi in time for her sister Karisma’s birthday on June 25. But Karisma is out of the country.

“Can you believe it? My bad luck I guess, ” sighs Kareena.

Kareena Kapoor is super excited now that movies are finally going to release in multiplexes. Her excitement appeared doubled at the media meet of her upcoming next, Kambakkht Ishq at a Mumbai star hotel.

“I am as starved as the audiences are and I am looking forward to having doughnuts and pop corn while watching a movie. I am excited to watch all the movies. People are dying to go to the cinema halls. Actually so much loss has incurred during this last 1 and half month. The film fraternity is in a crisis. I pray and wish that all films do well” she told us.

While the movie is all set to hit the theatres on July 10 Kareena is gung ho on having worked with Hollywood hunks Sylvester Stallone and Brandon Routh.


“You must watch the movie. Akshay Kumar and Sylvester Stallone are a lethal combination. I think normally we all aspire to go to Hollywood but Sajid Nadiadwala got Hollywood to us. It was a great honour and a great experience.” said Kareena.

When asked between the two Akshay and Sylvester Stallone who are her favourite stars, Kareena giving an impish smile and said, “Both are talented. I am huge fan of Stallone but Akshay is my favourite co star.”

There is more buzz about her donning the bikini for the second time in this movie after Tashan. When asked if Saif objected to it, Kareena’s reply was, “Why do people fail to understand that if I need to swim should I be wearing jeans and take a dip into the pool? If, the scene demands me to swim, Obviously, I need to be wearing a swimsuit. So why will Saif object."

It is heard that Kareena has now been asking the producers to pull out the promos of her in a swim suit now. But Kareena defends herself saying, “Cutting promos is not my job I m an actor so I believe in performing best from my end.”

About her role in the film Kareena said, “Actually my role is about a girl who wants to become a surgeon and works part time as a supermodel. She hates men and doesn’t believe in love she is arrogant.”
